Which documents can Tajdeed track?
Emirates ID, residence visas, passports, driving licences, vehicle registration (Mulkiya), motor and health insurance, Ejari and tenancy contracts, trade licences, establishment cards, labour cards and medical fitness certificates. Anything else can be added as a custom document.
How does the AI scanning work?
You upload a photo or PDF. It is sent to an AI vision model (Amazon Bedrock in the EU, running Anthropic's Claude) that reads the document type, holder name, number, issuer and dates. You always review and confirm the details against the original before anything is saved; AI can misread a date.
Does Tajdeed renew documents for me?
No. Tajdeed is a tracker: it reminds you early and shows the renewal steps and the official portal for each document. You or your PRO complete the renewal. Tajdeed is not a government service and does not guarantee that you avoid a fine.
When do reminders arrive, and how?
By default 90, 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before expiry, on the day, then weekly for a month after (shorter schedules for insurance and medical certificates). Today reminders are emails to the account owner's verified address. The Android beta app schedules local notifications on the same dates; WhatsApp reminders are in development.
Which platforms are available?
The web app works in any browser on phone or computer. Android is available as a beta APK (direct install, outside Google Play). There is no iOS app yet; use the web app on iPhone until it ships.
What do the plans cost?
Free: AED 0 for 3 documents. Family: AED 19 a month or AED 199 a year. Business: AED 199 a month or AED 1,990 a year (12 months for the price of 10). PRO: AED 799 a month or AED 7,990 a year. How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Card payments are being switched on. Until then paid plans and pilots are set up by invoice or bank transfer and activated by hand, and you can cancel any time by email. Once card payments are live, monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew yearly until you cancel from the billing portal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of the first payment.
What are the founding pilots?
Ten SME pilots at AED 149 for 30 days (single admin, one bounded import that we load for you, a manually prepared weekly report) and three PRO discovery pilots at AED 499. Cancel any time, undelivered scope is refunded, and nothing converts to a paid plan without your written acceptance. The future price is stated up front.
Is my data secure?
Files are stored in a private Amazon S3 bucket in the EU (Frankfurt), encrypted at rest, and every request is checked against your organisation. Identity numbers in reminder emails are masked to the last four characters. We do not sell or share your data for advertising. Our privacy policy lists every provider and region.
Can I share the account with my family or colleagues?
Yes, by invitation from Settings: up to 5 logins on Family, 3 admin logins on Business and 5 operator logins on PRO. Free accounts have one login. Reminders still go to the account owner's verified email; sending them to every member is in development.
